Southern Punjab Redeemers College is planned with an intention to promote higher education in the remote areas of Pakistan. Taunsa Shareef, which is famous as a knowledge loving City, is our first choice to start with. This City, in general has tremendous talent, unfortunately could not flourish due to uneven opportunities. Mostly, a considerable section of females are unable to leave the home place for higher studies due to social norms. Our objective is to provide quality education which is within the reach of the inhabitants of this city. Our college building is spacious and well equipped with a computer lab, beautiful canteen, library and modest physics laboratory for math students. It has exclusive common rooms for males and females. A Large grassy area is within the premises of the college where the students may study and relax as well. Our college is led by a highly qualified Principal with PhD in computer science. We have an energetic and well qualified faculty for all subjects. Our faculty is approachable during the college hours for academic consultation. We hope that the students will find their stay with us very productive in all aspects.
Taunsa Shareef is known as the mini Greek of the subcontinent with 93% literacy rate. The
talent,
hard work and creativity of the people of Taunsa Shareef have proved their mettle within and
outside
Pakistan. However, when it comes to higher education, Taunsa lags behind the major cities of
Pakistan due to lack of resources and financial obligations. These considerations brought
some
people from different walks of life together in 2019 with the motive of launching a degree
level
institution at Taunsa. This materialized to establishment of the Southern Punjab Redeemers
College
(SPRC), which after having affiliation with the Ghazi University, DG.Khan initiated 4-year
undergraduate programs in the disciplines of English, Urdu and Mathematics. Just at the
start,
the
SPRC had to face the period of deadly pandemic Covid-19, which disturbed the entire
education
system
around the globe. Alhamdulillah, due to considerate contribution of our faculty, consistent
academic
policies and the hard work of our students, our college achieved 100% passing result in all
the
three subjects.
Realizing the local requirements, the SPRC has included two additional subjects, BBA and
BS-IT
for
the forthcoming academic session. We have set up a well equipped computer lab and an
excellent
library that meet the needs of our students. Our ultimate focus is to bring SPRC at the
level of
a
degree awarding institution in near future. We expect that the parents will let their young
generation to opt our institution for the best education along with their
character building and a better future.

Southern Punjab Redeemers College (SPRC) is built exclusively with the vision primarily focusing on the educational needs of the remote areas of the Southern Punjab by providing quality higher education at their doorstep. In next couple of years, we look forward to launch more BS programs according to the need of the young academics of this city and its suburbs. Our aspiration is to change the old-fashioned educational system to modern one, which will be adorned with latest teaching means such as multi-media lectures, internet connectivity, fully equipped labs, computer literacy for all students, teacher-students consultation, seminars, research oriented motivation and guidance, etc. The SPRC academic staff is highly qualified and motivated.
