BS ENGLISH

English is a widely spoken language around the world and is considered as a global language. It is the medium of instruction and communication in most of the countries. In Pakistan, English language and literature has a special significance because it is the official language of the government, and a major medium of education, trade and commerce. At SPRC, we offer a comprehensive program in English language and literature that is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in the language, its history, literature, and culture. Our program aims to help students develop their critical thinking skills, communication skills, and analytical skills, which are highly valued in many different fields. Students in our English language and literature program will study a wide range of topics, including English literature from different periods, literary theory, language teaching methodology, and linguistics. They will also learn how to write effectively, conduct research, and develop persuasive arguments. In addition to the core curriculum, our program offers a range of elective courses that allow students to specialize in a particular area of interest. These may include courses in creative writing, literary criticism, and cultural studies, among others. Graduates of our program can expect to find employment in a wide range of fields, including education, publishing, journalism, advertising, and public relations. They may also go on to pursue advanced degrees in English language and literature, linguistics, or related fields.
